Puerto Rico.
In the Caribbean, the island of Puerto Rico is a well known hotbed of UFO activity. What makes it especially fascinating is the islands added association with strange blood
sucking creatures known as the Chupacabras. The name translated as goat suckers, from the native Spanish dialect derives from an odd series of events where UFO reports were accompanied by a spate of strange animal deaths.
Wave of activity.
Small animals of all descriptions were found dead with their blood completely drained. There was never any sign of mutilation, but the linking factor was the close proximity
of UFO's. Reports Jenny Randles: " In the midst of the killings, UFO's made regular appearances at Moca. For example on the 12th of May 1975 a spinning mass of lights was seen, and on the 6th April
there was a wave of activity. This culminated in a sighting reported live over his radio show by DJ Willie Lopez who was watching a yellow saucer in the sky and had also seen a luminous figure from his
station in Miramar. Soon after this mysterious power failures hit the island. "
Even more astonishing were the extraordinary happenings in the community of San German on the 28th April 1975. Early that morning a bright object appeared in the sky and
beamed a powerful shaft of light into the toilet of a local home. Shortly after this the toilet exploded into flames.
All categories of sighting.
Since 1980 the happenings in Puerto Rico have grown apace. They encompass virtually all categories of sighting, from strange lights in the sky, to beings with pointed ears
that float about the air. An island that although small in size is extremely active in terms of UFO activity.
