Terrible reality.
It has always been the expectation that Nostradamus foresaw a particularly violent disaster that would befall the “New City”, as he is believed to refer to New York. One of
the most authoritative books on the subject is Erika Cheetham’s “The Prophecies of Nostradamus.” Referring to Quatrain 6:97 which is quoted below there is the explanatory heading of “The
Bombing of New York.”
Incredibly a recent film on Nostradamus which was released only five or six years ago specifically shows the twin towers of the World Trade Centre disintegrating into dust. A truly chilling vision of what would eventually become an all too terrible reality.
What did Nostradamus really see?
But what does Nostradamus himself have to say on the subject? Did he foresee the WTC attack or are we trying to read too much into quatrains that are already over loaded
with enigmatic references? Over the last few days our specialist researchers have scoured the Centuries of Nostradamus and come up with the following passages that may have some relevance to the World
Trade Centre attack. However it is up to you to decide just how close the comparison really is.
The New City.
By far the most notorious reference regarding an attack on New York is quatrain 6:97 which states the following:
The sky will burn at forty five degrees,
Fire approaches the great New City.
Immediately a huge scattered flame leaps up,
When they want to have proof of the Normans.
New York is situated very close to the 41 st parallel, but the state itself does extend as far as the 45 th degree. Much of the quatrain is self
explanatory except the last portion “When they want to have proof of the Normans.”
In these circumstances Normans may be interpreted as Europe, of whom the USA requires proof of its loyalty against those it sees as responsible for this attack.
The dart from the skies.
Another quatrain which if anything has an even greater connection with events in New York is quatrain 2:70. We quote it below and in brackets offer our own explanation of
its possible interpretation.
The dart from the skies
(Which could refer to the highjacked aircraft )
Will make its journey
Death while speaking. A great execution.
(In other words many die suddenly as they are talking)
The stone in the tree.
(The planes hit the towers with debris falling like fruit from a tall tree)
The proud nation brought down.
Rumour of a human monster ( Osama Bin Laden?? )
Then purge and expiation.
(Clear reference to the revenge threatened by the US Government)
Two buildings burn.
In quatrain 2:35 the connection is less apparent but nonetheless compelling. We include it for your interest to judge as you may. With our own comments in brackets it states:
Fire will take hold in two buildings at night.
( the attack on the WTC was in broad daylight, however
visibility was soon reduced to almost zero
by thick dust and debris. Duplicating a sense of nocturnal nightmare )
Numerous people are burnt and suffocated
It will happen near two rivers
(probably the Hudson and East River which surround Manhattan)
The Sun, Sagittarius and Capricorn are all absorbed.
( a clear astrological reference for which we offer no explanation )
A “dreadful” war planned in the West.
A truly chilling quatrain which may refer to military action in response to the New York attack is quatrain 9:55. It states:
The dreadful war which is prepared in the West.
The following year comes disease
So very horrible that neither young, old or beast (survive )
Stunning resemblance.
The terrible verses quoted above require little interpretation. Whether of course they are related to recent events in New York and the inevitable NATO response,
is something that each person must decide for themselves. At the very least they bear a stunning resemblance to a reality that unfortunately will be etched on all of our minds following a week that many believe has influenced the future direction of the whole of the world.
