Gulf Breeze
On an off-shore sand strip near Pensacola Florida, the town of Gulf Breeze is another famous UFO hot-spot. In reality the whole surrounding area is richly steeped in UFO
lore - a catalogue of accounts that is constantly being added to. It was in this area that the famous Pascagoula encounter took place.
The Pascagoula Incident.
This amazing episode centred on the claimed abduction of two men fishing from a pier in October 1973. Their sworn testimony described strange creatures with wrinkled skin
who led them aboard a space craft. On the same night a man driving between Mobile and Pensacola claims his truck was attacked by a UFO that sucked it inside. Like many other abduction accounts the driver
then described being medically examined by six small entities.
Amazing photographs.
In Gulf Breeze itself, a series of photographs purporting to show near identical UFO's attracted widespread attention. The photographer Ed" Walters was immediately
swamped in a maelstrom of rumour which had him twice being abducted and medically examined by aliens who placed implants in his brain. Almost immediately tourists flocked to the area, as ufologists
argued over the veracity of the evidence. In the meantime other UFO encounters only added to the reputation of this small community as the epicentre for some of the most bizarre unexplained aerial
phenomenon on record.
