Egyptian tomb shape plans.
A peculiar fact of ancient Egyptian architecture is its mysterious tendency to incorporate scale values for important astronomical and geographical distances. The principal
example of this is the Great pyramid of Giza.
This is said to contain dimensions representing scaled ratios of the circumference of the Earth, as well as the distance to the sun and the moon. For instance it is
estimated that the height of the pyramid, mutiplied by one million gives the calculated distance between the Earth and the sun.
Another peculiarity is that the circuit of the base divided by twice the height, produces Pi, which represents the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter.
The fact is that throughout the world of Egyptian masonry we find subtle geometrical equivalents for a whole range of mathematical relationships! It was as if the original
architects were anxious to include in their monuments cryptic messages for perceptive minds - an imperishable testament to the extent of their knowledge and wisdom.
Mystical significance.
Especially intriguing is that alongside this hidden data of purely technical significance, lies a dimension with altogether more mystical connotations! For example there is
solid evidence to suggest that the interior passage ways of the Great Pyramid are so measured as to represent important stages of Mankind's past, present, and future!
Even more exciting is that locked into the design of many of Egypt's royal tombs is the outline of objects and items identifiable as articles belonging to a
technologically advanced society!
Nowhere is this significance more apparent than Abu Simbel, south of Aswan on the River Nile. Here the outline of the Great Temple looks remarkably like a gigantic space
satellite, or robot with outstretched arms, and head.
Karnak.
Further down river at Karnak, near modern day Luxor, the ruins of the Temple of Amun reveal a complexity of detail that looks exactly like a gun turret!
Here in the spiritual heartland of ancient Egypt we find a subtle interlocking of shapes that fit tog ether so precisely that they closely resemble a technical drawing
composed of several neatly superimposed layers. The first layer shows the bare outline of what looks like a gun turret. Then layered on this is what appears to be some sort of interior mechanism complete
with revolving shaft!
Especially interesting is the actual 'gun barrel' itself. This effectively incorporates the plan of the adjacent temple of Mentu - a perplexing interior design that shows a
shaft like outline built around a casing that looks amazingly like some advanced projectile firing weapon.
Valley of The Kings.
Similarly thought provoking designs are to be found in the tombs of Tuthmosis III, and Ramses III, in the legendary Valley of the Kings! Here the tomb plan designs resemble
experiemental laboratory equipment, or advanced electronic circuitry!
The sheer complexity of these shapes immediat ely challenge the intellect. Why were they laid out this way? Was it just mere coincidence, or were the builders trying to tell
us something?
W hatever the answers, the fact is that evidence of this amazing enigma is to be found throughout the Nile Valley.
Robots of Tanis.
Far to the north, tomb plans in the Royal Necropolis of Tanis look just like robots seen in outline. Easily discernible are mechanical arms and legs, with recognisable heads
that appear to swivel on a well defined body!
Here again the unmistakeable impression is that we are looking at objects of high technology - a resemblance surely too close for it be the work of chance alone.
Once more the question has to be asked: Were the Egyptians trying to tell us something - perhaps a message to future generations that they knew of such things. That they
knew all about robots, ray guns, and laboratory equipment? If so what better way of permanising this knowledge than by setting it like a time capsule buried in the outline of their principal tomb shapes.
Preserved in this way beneath the desert sands, it would last for countless generations, an imperishable testimony to the extent of their knowledge and wisdom.
Pioneer 1972.
In a way this immortalisation of learning is nothing that we ourselves have not already done. In 1972 for example, NASA's Pioneer spacecraft carried a specially designed
plaque that in the words of the magazine The Unexplained "was intended to convey to any 'scientifically educated' aliens, complex information about the position of our planet, our Solar system and ourselves!"
The fact is that any advanced society has a great desire to leave behind a testiment to their accomplishments, their arts and their sciences, and the extent of their
understanding. In this respect it seems the Egyptians were no exception. Yet the fact remains that if these brilliant Nile dwellers really did have knowledge of advanced technology then it effectively
rewrites history as we know it.
Inescapable reality.
The inescapable fact is that encapsuled in the design of their principal tombs and most sacred of places, is the outline of items that are readily identifiable with an
extremely advanced society. This could of course be just coincidence. Indeed if there were just one or two examples of this strange enigma this might be a realistic possibility, but when we are
confronted with literally dozens of such designs, then coincidence begins to look increasingly remote!
What then is the explanation? If for instance the ancient Egyptians did base the design of their tombs on objects of high technology, how did they come into contact with
them? And if they did, why did they incorporate their design into the plan of their most sacred of places?
Even more importantly is how did they know of such objects?. For instance it is not thought that the Egyptians possessed anything remotely resembling advanced firing systems or robots! So how then were they able to draw their outline so precisely?
Alien visitation.
Some inevitably sees the answers in terms of alien visitation.
Certainly in ancient times it was a widespread belief that intelligent beings had arrived from the skies! These 'sky gods' were predominantly friendly and attributed to them
was the reception of all knowledge and wisdom! Egypt was a land where belief in these sky gods was particularly strong! Like the ancient Greeks they believed these gods to be anthropomorphic, and almost
humanoid in appearance. What separated them from the people of that time was their immense power and mastery of weapons of stunning destructibility. For example the ancient Indian epic the Mahabharata
talks of weapons of mass destruction capable of destroying whole worlds!
Technological wonders.
Wherever we go in the ancient world, copious mythological and legendary references to strange machines sound ever closer to the sort of technology we are developing today.
And if aliens from other world's had landed with such equipment the people of the day would surely have come to regard such things in terms of holy relics brought by the gods. What better reason then,
than to incorporate these 'designs of the gods' in the layout of their most sacred places such as tombs and temples!
In other words the Egyptians based their design for these places on the physical outline of the technology shown to them by aliens!
Christopher Columbus.
There is a smaller parallel to this found in the log-book of Christopher Columbus, on his first voyage to the New World. In it are comments recorded by Bartolome de Las
Casas. He describes the reaction of the local natives who believed Columbus to be a 'sky god'! They even took him into their huts and showed him 'holy relics', finely polished metal objects left behind
by the sky people! These they had arranged in a curious altar that was the focus of their worship.
Atlantis.
Another possible answer to the Egyptian tomb shape enigma is ancient Egypt's connection with the island of Atlantis!
In his book the Timaeus and Critias the Greek philosopher Plato tells of a friends visit to Egypt. According to the story sympathetic priests of the Temple of Sais allowed him access to records relating to Atlantis! The priests recounted that nine thousand years previously the island had vanished beneath the waves in a terrible catastrophe! Nothing of it now remained but significantly Atlantis was thought of in terms of a highly advanced culture with sophisticated weapons and technology!
Blue-prints.
Is it then possible that the blueprints of this technology had been preserved by the Egyptians in their secret records? The reason why they were chosen for the design of
their temples and tombs. In fact nothing less than a commemoration of a sacred island from whom they had inherited so much of their knowledge and wisdom?
It certainly makes for a beguiling theory! And yet again what better way of preserving this wisdom than by setting it in stone. Presented like this the Egyptians knew they
would be sure to survive the ravages of time! They would no doubt hope that eventually people perceptive enough would be able to interpret the visual evidence and place it in the appropriate context!
Indeed there are some who believe that shrouded in this system of hidden messages lies a far more complete version of this world's history - it's rises and falls, it's disasters and catastrophes - than
anything known to conventional science!
Whatever the answer, the fact is we are left with a baffling enigma! These peculiar tomb plans cannot readily be explained as being of no significance! Their design is far
too definite for that! In addition far simpler designs involving far less effort of labour and finance would have served equally as well. Yet somehow the Egyptians made a deliberate choice of these
complicated patterns and designs which look for all the world like things we know today!
Message for our time.
To any previous generation these designs would have meant precisely nothing! They had simply nothing on which to base a comparison! We on the other hand can see them in the
setting of plans that although baffling to comprehend, lead straight to the unavoidable conclusion that by some incredible means the ancient Egyptians had knowledge of advanced technology! They may not
have appreciated it's uses, or fully understood the principle by which these devices worked, but they were sufficiently captivated by them, to spend many years of hard toil and labour, immortalising
their outline in their greatest tombs and monuments!
Perhaps the full answers may never be known, but as more and more of this sort of evidence begins to emerge, it is sure to challenge every readily accepted concept of our
history and origins! The significance is that if once we begin to accept this evidence as real, then we must also have to address a whole range of awkward questions regarding our origins and development,
and the road of scientific progress that led us to this point in time!
Facing these dilemmas takes considerable courage! Reputations stand to rise and fall, and as ever truth becomes the ultimate casualty! Yet sooner or later - and that day
is not too far away - the mounting wall of evidence will become impossible to ignore! When that time comes mankind will at last be reunited with the greatest and most dramatic chapters of this planets
history!
