Face from the mists of time.
While making a promotional video for the Atlantis Pyramid this ghostly face ( see below ) appeared to Harry Hinde as he poured
milk into a bowl of water to simulate the mists of time. Later as he began to edit the film a curious old face began to appear on the film. I was taken aback, explains Harry. All of a sudden from this
mass of swirling shapes the definite outline of a face began to take shape. It was like a very old man with white wispy hair, like something out of a painting by William Blake. I was awe struck.
Surprising context.
Even more surprising is the context in which the image occurs. Not any old picture but one taken from a video depicting the
mists of time. As Harry puts it: I set out to show the mists of time and the various monuments that were built at different periods and then suddenly its like Old Father Time comes out of the movie.
Not faked
Harry is adamant that no special effects were used to fake this incredible image, though it has been increased in contrast to
make it stand out a little more prominently. The peculiar thing is that while Harry was immediately able to distinguish the ghostly looking image not everyone is able to see the image as he does.
That really astonishes me. admits Harry. To me the image is quite definite. It shows an old man with white wispy hair - an image that seems so much in keeping with the eternal element of
time. The trouble is that not everyone is able to see it at first glance.
Trouble seeing it?
For those having trouble distinguishing this mystery image we advise they look for one large eye to the middle left of the
image. Then there is like a long white nose coming down the centre with a tiny eye immediately opposite the first one to the right of centre of the image. Thin wispy hair - top left -
completes the makeup of a mysterious old man that quite literally came out of the mists of time.
